Exiles & Hollows

Exiles & Hollows is a Dark Souls inspired, rules-lite RPG system taking place in decaying world. Players take roles of titular Exiles - people cursed by the rotten sun to come back a little less after each death. They will try to to maintain their humanity - at least until the world as we know it is gone forever.

As for the system, it is heavily inspired by the Dark Souls series by  the Hidetaka Miyazaki, and to some extent by various other OSR RPG systems. 

Key features are:

• Tactical, yet quick combat based more on player skill than a character skill. 
• Streamlined system for managing equipment, removing a need to keep count of all the trinkets and junk. 
• Humanity- and memory-based personality creation which allow to easily create a history and personality for the character without much delving into details, aswell as the process of becoming a rotten hollow. 
• The in-built setting presented in a cryptic way that can be interpreted in many ways  and adjusted to storytelling needs without breaking the game.
